Welcome to Ayr Jazz Club
We are delighted that you have found us on the web. As a result of two successful jazz festivals in 2003/4, Ayr Jazz Club was founded in 2005 to bring live music to the jazz enthusiasts of all Ayrshire and beyond. Our festivals continued until 2008 and since those early days we have had the pleasure of listening to a varied range of bands from Dixieland to New Orleans and Trad, as well as music from the 1920 - 30's. For only £10 why not come along and enjoy up to 3 hours of scintillating music? Our next event is shown below.

Sadly we were unable to have Martin Bennett and his Old Green River Band on 22 April because of Covid to Martin. We were very fortunate to be able to call upon most of the New Phoenix Jazz Band from Edinburgh and adding trombonist Herbie Hudson and drummer Scott Adair from Whitley Bay to replace Martin and the band gelled magnificently.
On Friday 6th May the club celebrate its 17th year in existence with a Party Night including buffet and the promise of excellent jazz from The Tenement Jazz Band. Since their formation in 2018 the band have received many excellent ovations.
Though, in general, Covid restrictions have been lifted, anyone who hasn't been to the club since October or was not a registered member of the club prior to that time will require to complete a registration card on arrival.
Look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your support.
